Last Thursday was a holiday in the Netherlands, so I took Friday off and made a short hop over to Vilnius, Lithuania, for a long long-weekend. It was a very nice trip: beautiful old town, tolerable weather, good food, decent beer.
Sharing a bathroom…I’d forgotten how much fun that is. Having paper-thin walls and being NEXT to the shared bathroom is not really enjoyable either.
Aside from that, great trip! Great place – go visit while it still has some of the “Soviet exoticness” to it.
